Katja was first introduced to Hatha Yoga during her student years in Glasgow. Being instantly hooked, she continued a regular practice which gradually deepened incorporating other yoga styles including Vinyasa flow, Ashtanga, Restorative & Yoga Nidra. The further she dived into her own practice, the more she understood what a wonderful addition Yoga provides to our daily lives. Due to curiosity, and the drive of gaining a deeper understanding of the Yoga philosophy, she signed up for a yoga teacher training at the Seasonal Yoga Academy in 2016. During her training, she discovered the great joy of sharing her passion with others while continuing to learn and evolve together with her fellow practitioners.
Katja teaches Vinyasa Flow, a dynamic, creative class that is made accessible to all levels. She focuses on reconnecting body, mind and breath and encourages her students to playfully explore postures at their own pace and abilities. Pranayama (breathwork) and an extended relaxation are always incorporated in her classes.
